My name is Jett. I am a North Carolina Licensed Massage And Bodywork Therapist, graduate of Kneaded Energy School of Massage since 2021.
Living in a post COVID-19 world, my mission is to alleviate my clients of stress and touch deprivation. I strive to stay trauma informed, hold space and meet the needs of every individual who walks through my door. While I cannot get rid of every knot in one session, my approach prioritizes mobility restoration, blood flow, and overall tissue health to help clients feel their best.
Why do people call you "Jett"?
Brid-gett > Brid-jett > Jett :)
I was a big fan of Joan Jett in my teens. I wanted to separate my home life from my work life at the start of my massage career. So I gave myself the nickname as a start. (Contrary to popular belief, YOU can do that! You're a tax paying citizen and it is YOUR life.)
Why Massage Mermaid?
I've always had a love for mermaids since I was a child. Co-workers, family, friends, and even children have called me a mermaid because of my (apparently) iconic blue hair. I've always incorporated mermaids into my decorating and fashion. Now I'd like to bring it to a massage environment. Folks seem to relax more at the beach and near the ocean, don't you think?
